Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling our products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
- Assist customers with purchases, including operating the cash register and processing payments
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store targets
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Previous experience in jewelry sales, technical sales, or electronics sales is a plus
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Multilingual abilities, particularly Spanish, is an asset
